Cole's Classroom

Updated: Jan 16, 2019

Never stop learning. You will always overestimate how much you know and it's best to keep your confidence in check!

This is straight up an appreciation post! I have been a photographer for about five years. I have taken about four years of classes on photography and feel pretty confident! However, I recently discovered Cole's Classroom. It's an online training center for new and old photographers alike. You can go back over the basics, learn new skills, and get cheat sheets! You also get to interact with other photographers and get real and awesome feedback on your photos! You can also get experienced advice when you're just starting out! It's awesome! I love my membership with Cole's Classroom! And it was created by a real photographer (Cole Joseph) who truly wants to help you succeed as a photographer.

“We forget things cause we're human and resources like Cole's Classroom give us the option to relearn and continue to grow!”

It's hard to admit that you need help, or more experience, or a different approach. But the environment on the CC Photo Pros page on Facebook is so chill and non-judgemental and so willing to help. I love Cole's Classroom. Let me just tell you. I have gotten some great tips. I got the courage to really start my business and put my stuff up for sale! I recently went back and went through the beginner module and really appreciated going back to basics so that I could relearn some stuff I hadn't realized I had forgotten. And that's the thing. We forget things cause we're human and resources like Cole's Classroom give us the option to relearn and continue to grow!

Just remember, confidence is great so long as it's not going to make us cocky so that our work doesn't well... work! Let your peers take a look at your work and maybe take you down a notch!
